Bali Trip - Part 2

Yeay hardworking me is back with Bali trip part 2!
So where did I left off ya? Oh! the massage! *just saying this so that you guys will drool*
mwahahahahaha! *evil laugh*

Okay, so the next day I went to Tanjung Benoa to do some water sport with a friend of mine who happened to be at Bali too. It was obviously so fun! But too bad I didn't bring my camera because it was too troublesome and also because my sister was going to the bird park and I thought the camera would be more useful there (pictures below). So I went jet ski-ing, which I've never did before and it was super uber fun! Its like riding a motorcycle on top of water! I've always love any activities that involves water. I don't know why but water just calms me down!
After Jet ski I went Ocean Walking which was, I don't know how to describe it, it is, AH-MA-ZING.
For you guys who doesn't know what ocean walking is, here's a picture I took from google.

It's really really fun! The sea was so beautiful! I can't even describe how beautiful it is. You guys should try it sometime. We got our photos taken but didn't bother to print it because it was too expensive. We'd rather go ocean walking once again rather than buying those pictures. The pictures cost like 400k rupiah. it's so stupid. it's as if they want to suck all of our bloody money!
anywayyyy, moviiiingg oonnn.. We went straight to Waterbom (A water park) and also did had the same fun! Tried the newest slide, climax which is seriously giving me an adrenaline rush, and I LOVEEED IT! A lot of people are scared of the slide and even went down without going for the ride even after 40 minutes of queuing. Here's some pictures I took from the website.

It is a lot of fun and anyone who visit Bali should definitely try it. promise?

---

So while I was having a thrill and fun in the waters, my sister and little brother had fun at the bird park too! Was a having a little regret that I didn't join them but only a little! coz I know I will still enjoy my water sports than looking at birds! lol. But seriously I was amazed by the photos my sister took. All the birds are so beautiful! The bird park is located at batu bulan - gianyar bali. Here's the website if you want to take a look. www.bali-bird-park.com . The ticket is so cheap too! About $20 for adult and $10 for children.
I didn't know any details about their trip so I will just show you the beautiful pictures my sister took and I edited.

Beautiful, isn't it?

Had dinner and needed to find some souvenirs for some friends and family. found a store nearby which is like crazy big and cheap! I think the prices there are even more cheap than the one you see in the streets but with better quality! I recommend you guys to go there if you want to find souvenirs. The place is like a department store full of souvenirs!

The next day was the time to say goodbye to Bali. But we managed to squeeze some activities to do before heading back to Jakarta in the afternoon. After breakfast in the hotel, I promised my little brother to accompany him swimming so I did!

went to the beach after swimming to take some photos and watch my brother swim there.

light make up for the day:

posing like a model attempt 1: FAIL. LOL
my little brother is so happy!
sister is looking deeply to the sea LOL
my sexy back. *ahem* no lah. I just can't help but this photo of my crazy fair skin. Go to Bali 5 days, Y U NO become darker?!!

posing like a model attempt 2: FAIL AGAIN. too much wind blowing my hair covering my face.

got caught playing with my bro's sandcastle thingy! hahaha

we were all so tired after that and headed for lunch at Bumbu Bali. It was the only food that we actually thought was delicious there. Even though it was kinda pricey, the food and the presentation was so perfect, it's worth the price. They even have cooking classes! If you happen to be interested in learning how to cook Bali food you can check their website out at www.balifoods.com .

in such a hot weather, cold water was the best drink!
Look how beautiful the foods are!!! Yummy or not?!
cam whoring as usual lah. but even the camera loves the food. kept auto focusing on the food! > <
my hungry-and-happy-that-the-food-at-last-came look! but still the camera keeps focusing on the bloody food! hahhahaha. couldn't blame the camera lah, even I couldn't take my eyes off it.
so after failed attempts of taking photos, I decided to just give up and eat. crazy delicious!!! after eating, instead of taking a picture with the foods I decided to just straight away camwhore by myself! Mwahahahah! using the pretty chillies as props! see! the chilli's so lucky!

 *le duck face
my brother also want to pose! hahahahaah!

so that wrapped up my bali trip post! my overall rating for my Bali Trip is 7/10. 7 because the fun I had and the beautiful sceneries. the 3 marks I left off was because I didn't like almost every food I ate there. If you hadn't noticed, I'm kinda am a culinary-travel freak. So food has always been one of my top priorities! But anyway it's a great destination for a getaway! :)

New Year 2012!

Happy New Year guys! Sorry for the late post guys. I have a valid reason for this. I started uni already and I'm lazy. Hahaha. This new year is really fun. I spend the new year's eve with my boyfriend and my family. 2011 been a really rough year but ended up with a real sweet and fun way. I think all the hard work I've been through is worth it all. :) On the new year I went to Living World, Serpong to try out Old Town White Coffee for lunch. It's quite nice but of course not as nice as kopitiams in Malaysia. Anyway, compared to the Kopitiam in Pesanggrahan, Old Town White Coffee successfully make a quite genuine food of kopitiams in Malaysia. Here are some of the photos and foods of the day :)  very shiny weather and good environment in Serpong area makes it feel so comfy to eat there. Honey Lemon Juice Definitely must try the Teh Tarik and Honey Lemon Juice. So refreshing! :)  Prawn Mee Hon Mee  Ipoh Chicken Hor Fun - Very clear soup....

Bali Trip - PART 1

Hahahahahhahhahaha! No!! I didn't go to Bali again. Guess what! I found a way to recover my lost photos! So here I am with Part 1 of my trip LOL. I know the trip is like last year but I'm gonna blog about it anyway! XD. So I went to Bali with my two brothers and sister without our parents, and it was a lot of fun! I enjoyed every bit of Bali especially the sceneries. Believe it or not this was the first time I've ever been to Bali. I think foreigners been to Bali more than I do. I'm so embarrassed every time my foreign friends ask me whether I've been there or not. Now I can proudly say, I'VE BEEN THERE! HAHA. Anyway without further ado, here's the Bali post I've been talking about for months! Camwhoring with bro and sis at the plane! arrived at BALIIII  our hotel! we stayed at Grand Mirage Bali at nusa dua (if I'm not mistaken) searched for food around the hotel. all of the foods are not delicious at all and very expensive! n...

Hahaha. wondering why the name of my post is Teokbokki ?  Its because I just cooked  Teokbokki  (pronounced as topoki) today! YEAYYY!!! :D For those of you who doesn't know what is  Teokbokki  can click the link. :) Its a korean snack. Its a spicy rice cake. The rice cake is boiled with water and the cooked with its sauce. I've been wanting to cook this for a very LONG time, but didn't have the time to, and didn't know where to buy the cooking material. But luckily, recently I found a Korean Supermarket in Jakarta, Mun Gung Hwa (did I spell it right?)  Its at Senopati area, near Blok M. They have a lot of stuffs and is very complete. You can find any Korean Groceries there, and for those of you who wants to eat korean foods, you can go there too. They have an eat in place. Well in Senopati, there is a lot of Korean Restaurants and of course Korean People! hahaa. That place is the so called "Little Korea" in Jakarta.  Okay before I go too far, let's g...
