Bali Trip - PART 1

Hahahahahhahhahaha! No!! I didn't go to Bali again. Guess what! I found a way to recover my lost photos! So here I am with Part 1 of my trip LOL. I know the trip is like last year but I'm gonna blog about it anyway! XD. So I went to Bali with my two brothers and sister without our parents, and it was a lot of fun! I enjoyed every bit of Bali especially the sceneries. Believe it or not this was the first time I've ever been to Bali. I think foreigners been to Bali more than I do. I'm so embarrassed every time my foreign friends ask me whether I've been there or not. Now I can proudly say, I'VE BEEN THERE! HAHA.

Anyway without further ado, here's the Bali post I've been talking about for months!
Camwhoring with bro and sis at the plane!

arrived at BALIIII
our hotel! we stayed at Grand Mirage Bali at nusa dua (if I'm not mistaken)

searched for food around the hotel. all of the foods are not delicious at all and very expensive! note to self: don't stay at hotels near nusa dua. eventually chose this random restaurant which was like so expensive and so not delicious. Bad service as well! > <
went to the hotel's private beach right after lunch. such a pretty scenery and beautiful beds! haha!

went back to our rooms after that and dressed up for dinner!
we didn't want to eat anything near our hotel so we decided to go to seminyak. tweeted and asked my friends recommendation and we ended up having dinner at Wahaha. Worth the one hour ride, the ribs are so damn delicious! I couldn't stop eating LOL. very cheap as well! one plate of full slab ribs cost only like Rp 100,000 (which is like US$10). Mad cheap right?!

The next day!!

went to Ubud to go shopping around the place. :)
tried the famous babi guling ibu oka which everyone's been talking about. was rather disappointing. but we were all to hungry to care about the taste! hahaha!

went to some sort of temple or something nearby and take some time cam whoring as usual XP

went to Jimbaran for dinner! Seafood of course.

the place was so packed! I couldn't even catch a waiter's attention. finding a seat was like hell. what's worse was waiting for the food to come. the seafoods looks fresh and I've got to say it is delicious. but because it was too crowded, food arrive at our table after freaking one hour! foods are all cold by the time it reaches our table. the place had too much smoke around which was not comfortable at ALL!

reached our room and tried to wash my clothes in the tub. look at the water! ewww! our hairs are all so smelly even after washing it two times. the water didn't turn clear until I've washed it 4-5 times! haha.

---

The next day was a great great day with greaaaaat scenery!
cam whoring to start the day! hahahaa

we went to Kuta that day and had a shopping spree! hahaha. didn't take any photos because I was too excited looking at stuffs.
Had lunch at ayam betutu. It was delicious but I didn't take any photos because everyone was too hungry to actually take out any of their cameras! > <

went to the beautiful Ayana Hotel and was so astonished by the beautiful view! too bad I couldn't get any room. it was fully booked and I was so sad :'( will definitely stay there the next time I visit. seriously wanna take a plunge in that infinity pool!

saw a couple taking their pre wedding photos and was sure since then that I will definitely take my pre wedding photos there as well! look at how happy that couple are! #envy
Here. I will just let photos speak for itself. I didn't even bother to heavily edit these pictures because it's so damn beautiful, I wanna cry :')

Look at how green the whole place is!!!! aaaaaa

The freaking long line to the Rock Bar. We were watching sunset there!!!

 what a unique menu!!

our thirst quenching drinks on the hot day!

 SUNSEEEEETTTTTT!!! :')

 me and the handsome guy!

isn't this whole thing beautiful? ;') feels like crying. #lebay
after the long tiring day I went for a spa in rumah spa (www.rumahspa.com) with a friend of mine who was also in Bali.
The place is so damn pretty also leh!!! Perfect for couples!! There is a bath tub where we are allowed to take a warm bath first before getting our massage! yikes! even thinking of it is making me want to go back there! > <

okay enough! I think the post is long enough. will continue the part 2 once I finished editing! don't be curious! ;)

New Year 2012!

Happy New Year guys! Sorry for the late post guys. I have a valid reason for this. I started uni already and I'm lazy. Hahaha. This new year is really fun. I spend the new year's eve with my boyfriend and my family. 2011 been a really rough year but ended up with a real sweet and fun way. I think all the hard work I've been through is worth it all. :) On the new year I went to Living World, Serpong to try out Old Town White Coffee for lunch. It's quite nice but of course not as nice as kopitiams in Malaysia. Anyway, compared to the Kopitiam in Pesanggrahan, Old Town White Coffee successfully make a quite genuine food of kopitiams in Malaysia. Here are some of the photos and foods of the day :)  very shiny weather and good environment in Serpong area makes it feel so comfy to eat there. Honey Lemon Juice Definitely must try the Teh Tarik and Honey Lemon Juice. So refreshing! :)  Prawn Mee Hon Mee  Ipoh Chicken Hor Fun - Very clear soup....

Teokbokki

Hahaha. wondering why the name of my post is Teokbokki ?  Its because I just cooked  Teokbokki  (pronounced as topoki) today! YEAYYY!!! :D For those of you who doesn't know what is  Teokbokki  can click the link. :) Its a korean snack. Its a spicy rice cake. The rice cake is boiled with water and the cooked with its sauce. I've been wanting to cook this for a very LONG time, but didn't have the time to, and didn't know where to buy the cooking material. But luckily, recently I found a Korean Supermarket in Jakarta, Mun Gung Hwa (did I spell it right?)  Its at Senopati area, near Blok M. They have a lot of stuffs and is very complete. You can find any Korean Groceries there, and for those of you who wants to eat korean foods, you can go there too. They have an eat in place. Well in Senopati, there is a lot of Korean Restaurants and of course Korean People! hahaa. That place is the so called "Little Korea" in Jakarta.  Okay before I go too far, let's g...
