Lombok Trip

Hey guys! haha. After a very loonngg delay.. Here's the lombok blog post!
me on the plane cam whoring as usual. lol.
 little brother acting cool~

we arrived at Lombok at noon and had our lunch straight from the airport. Mom's friend brought us to a seafood restaurant and we had the most delicate lunch ever!
the crab is the most delicious crab I've ever eaten, seriously! It's so juicy and sweet and big of course, I don't even know how to describe it OMG.
Look at how big the claws are! XP if you can't imagine it, I can just say that it's bigger than my hand.

never liked this kind of clam before, but this is the only exception. *playing paramore the only exception* #LOL

After our lunch we went to our hotel, Senggigi Beach Hotel. They have the best view ever, and I can't resist to snap some pictures!

 gorgeous right?!

The main reason why I went to Lombok is because my brother is opening a french-italian restaurant there. My family and I are there to support him. Look at the interior of his restaurant. How cool is that! :)

the kitchen ;)

the wood oven! I can't believe that he actually have that. and at that moment I'm very sure the pizzas would definitely taste delicious!

Here's the chef! Chef Patrick Opperman! He's making is some delicious pizzas!

VOILAAAAA. I know it doesn't look "that" delicious, and I know I always say foods are delicious. I know too that this is my brother's restaurant. But believe me when I say it is very delicious. It's so authentic and all I can say is that, that night, I tasted heaven on earth! hahaha.
brother feeding my mom while looking at the camera!

me looking so ugly! haha. I wanted to quickly finish the pizza and get another slice so I didn't bother posing nice for the camera. MWAHAHAHA.
The bread the chef made. It's so delicious too, I'm telling you. If you ever ate a delicious bread like this, you will know what I mean and it's not easy to make too.
everyone looking at the chef while he's making pizzas
another shot of the pizza. *mouth watering*
It's my dad's first pizza! He hated italian food because he can't eat milk, cheese or beef. which most of italian food has in it. but the chef made him a special pizza which doesn't contain any of those. after my dad finished eating, he said that it is the most delicious italian food he have ever eaten.

The next morning we went for breakfast and I took a beautiful picture of my niece, Zoe. Isn't she gorgeous?

 my sister!
me cam whoring before being picked up by the driver.
went to eat the famous ayam taliwang at dua-em for lunch.
it's roasted duck egg. it's quite delicious! you should def try it.

the various chicken we ordered. fried, roasted and chilli.
wasn't my favourite food and I wouldn't say it's that nice. but my whole family thinks it's very nice. oh well, everybody's taste bud is different I guess.

went to the restaurant again after lunch to relax and I took a picture with the chef! even though his eyes were closed, I don't care lol. cause it was our only picture! XP

 family picture!
we went back to our hotel for some rest and came back to the restaurant for dinner that day. the chef have prepared lots of delicious food and we knew we are going to have a feast. hahahaa.
 LASAGNA!!!

hungry already?? ;) haha. don't worry you can go try it by yourself. If you happen to visit Lombok, come to Le Saint Tropez at Sentosa and try these delicious foods. okay? If you do stay at Lombok, then quick go and try it lah. hahaha.

The next day we went to an art market before going to the airport.

 "grandpa is so naughty!!!"
that was all from the trip. didn't get to play much at the beach, but it's a wonderful place to have your holiday. too bad we needed to go home fast. :(

btw! guess what I just got! XP

hihihihi. that's also one of the reason why I neglected blogging! LOL.

anyway I went to Hongkong last week. So I guess you know what the next post will be about then. :)

Love,

New Year 2012!

Happy New Year guys! Sorry for the late post guys. I have a valid reason for this. I started uni already and I'm lazy. Hahaha. This new year is really fun. I spend the new year's eve with my boyfriend and my family. 2011 been a really rough year but ended up with a real sweet and fun way. I think all the hard work I've been through is worth it all. :) On the new year I went to Living World, Serpong to try out Old Town White Coffee for lunch. It's quite nice but of course not as nice as kopitiams in Malaysia. Anyway, compared to the Kopitiam in Pesanggrahan, Old Town White Coffee successfully make a quite genuine food of kopitiams in Malaysia. Here are some of the photos and foods of the day :)  very shiny weather and good environment in Serpong area makes it feel so comfy to eat there. Honey Lemon Juice Definitely must try the Teh Tarik and Honey Lemon Juice. So refreshing! :)  Prawn Mee Hon Mee  Ipoh Chicken Hor Fun - Very clear soup....

Bali Trip - PART 1

Hahahahahhahhahaha! No!! I didn't go to Bali again. Guess what! I found a way to recover my lost photos! So here I am with Part 1 of my trip LOL. I know the trip is like last year but I'm gonna blog about it anyway! XD. So I went to Bali with my two brothers and sister without our parents, and it was a lot of fun! I enjoyed every bit of Bali especially the sceneries. Believe it or not this was the first time I've ever been to Bali. I think foreigners been to Bali more than I do. I'm so embarrassed every time my foreign friends ask me whether I've been there or not. Now I can proudly say, I'VE BEEN THERE! HAHA. Anyway without further ado, here's the Bali post I've been talking about for months! Camwhoring with bro and sis at the plane! arrived at BALIIII  our hotel! we stayed at Grand Mirage Bali at nusa dua (if I'm not mistaken) searched for food around the hotel. all of the foods are not delicious at all and very expensive! n...

Hahaha. wondering why the name of my post is Teokbokki ?  Its because I just cooked  Teokbokki  (pronounced as topoki) today! YEAYYY!!! :D For those of you who doesn't know what is  Teokbokki  can click the link. :) Its a korean snack. Its a spicy rice cake. The rice cake is boiled with water and the cooked with its sauce. I've been wanting to cook this for a very LONG time, but didn't have the time to, and didn't know where to buy the cooking material. But luckily, recently I found a Korean Supermarket in Jakarta, Mun Gung Hwa (did I spell it right?)  Its at Senopati area, near Blok M. They have a lot of stuffs and is very complete. You can find any Korean Groceries there, and for those of you who wants to eat korean foods, you can go there too. They have an eat in place. Well in Senopati, there is a lot of Korean Restaurants and of course Korean People! hahaa. That place is the so called "Little Korea" in Jakarta.  Okay before I go too far, let's g...
